Training (In-house): Awareness on Corruption

Integrity & Governance Unit (IGU) UMP Holdings conducted an in-house training targeting Management and Executive levels on March 20th, 2024. The primary objective of this training was to provide a comprehensive understanding of corruption and instill a culture of integrity within our organization.

The session was led by our esteemed speaker, Head of Compliance and Integrity Department (CID), Pn. Noor Azita binti Ibrahim. Over the course of two hours, attendees were guided through the meaning of corruption, the concept of corporate liability under Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009, and the importance of adequate procedures as a defense mechanism against corruption within organizations.

With a focused approach on enhancing awareness, we hope that this sharing session has effectively served its purpose in enlightening employees across the UMPH Group. Here's to anticipating more impactful sessions like this in the future!
