About Us
UMPSA Holdings Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary and the commercial arm of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). It was incorporated on 8 March 2004. UMPSA Holdings is an investment holding company with business interests in several sectors namely real estate, facilities and asset management, technology commercialization, consultancy and technical advisory and investments.
The main aim of UMPSA Holdings is to generate returns from its business activities to invest back into UMPSA to enable the funding of groundbreaking research and innovation across the academic fields in which UMPSA has specialization and expertise.
Since UMPSA Holdings was established in 2004, annual distributions of dividend income to UMPSA have grown significantly towards achieving the target of one-third of the university’s annual operating budget. The need to generate this critical funding, while managing the various business operations and subsidiaries is testament of the important role of UMPSA Holdings in delivering strong investment returns, maintaining sufficient liquidity and exercising good risk management and integrity practices.
