UMPSA Holdings recently convened a strategic engagement session with the Board of Directors of UMPSA Consultancy, represented by Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Muhamad Zahim Sujod, Professor Ir. Dr. Mohd Fairusham Ghazali as well as Ir. Dr. Azlan Adnan to align on the company’s future direction and long-term growth.

The session placed strong emphasis on UMPSA Consultancy’s transformation into a Project Management Consultant (PMC) integrated with Building Information Modeling (BIM), marking a significant shift from its previous focus on water solution consultancy towards a more comprehensive and data-driven role in managing infrastructure and development projects.
This strategic repositioning will see UMPSA Consultancy concentrate on four key pillars, namely Project Management Consultancy, BIM integration, training and certification, as well as consultancy services. In parallel, its existing water solution consultancy and laboratory-based services will be gradually transferred to Synbion Sdn. Bhd., allowing both entities to strengthen their respective specialisations and deliver greater value within their domains.
In its expanded role, UMPSA Consultancy will oversee the full lifecycle of project execution, from planning and design through to implementation and completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The integration of BIM further enhances this capability by enabling a digital, data-driven approach that improves design accuracy, coordination, and collaboration among stakeholders.
This transformation also opens new opportunities in areas such as technical training, certification, and renewable energy-related services, while reinforcing the company’s position as a registered consultancy firm through key accreditations.
The engagement reflects a shared commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and strengthening UMPSA Consultancy’s role together with UMPSA Holdings in delivering high-impact solutions within the construction and infrastructure landscape.
