UMPSA Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UMPSAH), the commercial and investment arm of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), takes a giant leap forward by partnering with Chulia Middle East Technical Services LLC, a leading Malaysian-born facilities management (FM) company. This strategic collaboration aims to deliver cutting-edge FM, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and IoT solutions across Malaysia and the Middle East.


Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the partnership focuses on FM, cleaning, BIM, project management and smart building solutions using IoT and data analytics. Through UMPSA Technology and subsidiary Synbion, UMPSAH commercialises university innovations, including award-winning E-Anfun, an odour-sensing device and OUDino, an organic agarwood inoculant, demonstrating UMPSAH’s ability to combine research, innovation and commercial impact.


The MoU signing was witnessed by key leaders, including YBhg. Dato’ Seri Abdul Razak Jaafar, Chairman of UMPSA; Prof. Dr. Yatimah Alias, Vice-Chancellor; UMPSA top management; and Chulia Middle East management.

Founded in 1995, Chulia Middle East is a leading international FM company with over 500 contracts, 700+ employees and 30 major UAE projects. The MoU launches a long-term partnership to work on FM and engineering projects, co-develop technology and bring Malaysian expertise abroad.
