UMPSA FM GAMBANG STRENGTHENS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY THROUGH SELF-SERVICE MAINTENANCE

UMPSA Facilities Management (FM) Gambang successfully carried out self-service maintenance works involving 4 units of Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB) and 4 units of Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) at the Kompleks Sukan Universiti (KSU), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). The initiative highlights the team’s technical capability in carrying out essential electrical maintenance works in-house while supporting operational continuity.

The team continued its maintenance efforts at Sub Block 72, servicing 2 units of VCB, 1 unit of ACB, and 2 units of Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB). Through these self-service initiatives, UMPSA FM Gambang achieved estimated cost savings of RM8,000 for VCB servicing and RM4,500 for ACB servicing.

This initiative reflects UMPSA FM Gambang’s commitment to strengthening in-house technical capabilities, improving maintenance efficiency, and optimising operational costs. By leveraging internal expertise, the team continues to deliver reliable facilities management services while creating greater value through practical and cost-effective solutions.
