UMPSA GAMBANG WINS PRESTIGIOUS DIAMOND AWARD AT LOW CARBON CITIES AWARD CEREMONY 2024

UMPSA Gambang, in collaboration with UMPSA Holdings, has been honored with the prestigious Diamond Award at the Low Carbon Cities Award Ceremony 2024, achieving an impressive 2-Diamond rating. The event, organized by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC), took place yesterday.
The award was presented by His Excellency Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Minister of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change, and was received on behalf of UMPSA Gambang by Mr. Abdul Fauzi Japar, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of UMPSA Holdings Group.
This recognition comes under the Low Carbon City 2030 Challenge (LCC2030C) programme, a government-driven initiative aimed at establishing 200 Low Carbon Zones and fostering 1,000 Low Carbon Partners across 155 local authorities in Malaysia.
Marking its second participation in the programme, UMPSA Gambang continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability, securing yet another milestone in its journey toward a greener future.
