UMPSA HOLDINGS EXPLORES OPPORTUNITIES IN AVIATION

A strategic site visit was conducted at Lanjut Airstrip, Rompin, to review existing facilities and explore future potential in the aviation sector. The visit brought together key representatives from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), UMPSA Holdings Sdn. Bhd., PEN Aviation, Gading Group Berhad, and Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Pahang (SUK Pahang).

The delegation was joined by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of UMPSA Holdings, Ts. Mohd Fadzil Mohd Idris, Managing Director of PEN Aviation, Jean-Bernard Boura and Chief Executive Officer of Gading Group, En. Muhamad Nurazmi Abas.

The visit focused on exploring strategic collaborations and partnerships that could leverage the potential of Lanjut Airstrip for light aircraft operations, aviation training, and research and development activities.

This initiative also aligns with the broader vision to establish Pahang Aerocity as a key regional hub for aviation innovation and education.

Through this collaboration, UMPSA Holdings aims to strengthen industry–academia partnerships and contribute to building a vibrant aviation ecosystem in Pahang.
